Hi, my name is Carolyn and I'm so happy you're here! Little Light Tribe is based on the meaning of our family last names;
Lacanilao, which means 'chief of light' and
de Vera, which means 'of truth'.
Meaning + Party of 7= Little Light Tribe!

It was born out of the heaviest season of spiritual battles in our kids' lives and we felt hopeless. We had to remind ourselves of God's goodness and allow His Promises & His Truth to bring light into our situation.

The New International Version (NIV) is a good modern translation and easy to understand. The New Living Translation (NLT) is also a good start. Also

A good place to start is the book of John in the New Testament. Or, if there is a particular topic you may be curious about or struggling with (anxiety, worry, doubt, etc.) you can google verses on those topics and look them up in your Bible.
